I offer both weekday and weekend sessions. Have a look at Session Information for more details of session types and what to expect.
I believe in capturing moments and as a natural light, lifestyle photographer, am not a fan of staged ‘say cheese’ studio shoots. Your session is YOUR time and can be done in your home, out and about at the many, many beautiful locations around Brisbane.
Session dates are strictly limited and do book ahead quite quickly, so I do suggest locking in a date sooner rather than later.
Session fees are $250.00 incl gst
If you want to do your session at a location that is more than half an hour from the Brisbane CBD, travel costs will apply. Just mention this when we chat or in your email.

What your Session Fee includes:
In short – time and expertise. Your session fee generally includes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours of photography for a family of up to 5 people and will produce 25 to 30 processed images that you will be able to view in an on-line gallery about 20 working days after your shoot. You will need to allow an extra $25 +gst per person if you have a larger family.
If your family structure doesn’t fit into that, for example, if you are looking to do a large family shot encompassing multiple siblings and their respective families, just click here to shoot me through an email with the details and I’ll be in touch about your customised session.
Newborn sessions are priced slightly differently as they generally take longer than a typical family portrait session, not because there are lots more photos taken, but more due to the fact that babies set their own time schedule of sleeping and feeding etc that needs to be worked around on the day, they will not be rushed and we don’t want to rush them – it doesn’t make for a beautiful peaceful baby photo!
Should you decide that you would like photoshop/editing work beyond what is supplied in your preview, additional charges apply at the rate of $125/hour +gst.
Please note that your session fee does not include any prints or digital files.
Minimum Spend, Prints, Product & Digital Files
Many photographers will require you to commit to a minimum spend when making a booking – I don’t think that’s entirely necessary. As a rough guide, most of my clients tend to spend between $1,000 to $3,000 on their product order, some less, some more. It’s completely up to you. We accept payment via direct deposit or credit card and payment plans are available.
I offer a range of beautiful products from desk prints to framed fine art prints, canvases, albums and more from Australia and around the world – all of which you will be able to get up close and personal with at yoru Ordering Appointment. We also have Collections including both digital files and generous bonus Print Credits to be used on your choice of our gorgeous products.
You may be looking for a beautiful album featuring a collection of images from the day, as well as some individual prints or perhaps you’re looking for a statement wall piece with some prints as gifts. Either way, the options are wide and varied and we are sure to find the perfect option for you. (I should note that all of these items have a variety of turnaround times).

The Nitty Gritties
It is required that your session fee is paid for in full within 14 days of making your booking this can be done via bank deposit or credit card.
Your session fee is non-refundable but it is transferable. So if there is an emergency, unforeseen circumstances or illness (no one wants photos taken when they’re unwell, especially if children are unwell – does not make for good images!), then your deposit can be transferred to an alternative date. Should you choose to transfer the date more than once there will be a booking transfer fee of 50% of your session booking fee.
By paying for your session you agree that, unless otherwise agreed, the copyright of all images from your session are retained by the photographer. This is pertains to the ownership of the images as well as use of the same in advertising, promotional and sample materials, anything outside of this would be done with due notification to you the client. If you choose to purchase digital images, you will be given a Studio Release giving you the authority to print, but not alter any images.
You will be required to sign a contract acknowledging and agreeing to all terms and conditions prior to your session.
